Mae Krell is a live music, portrait and lifestyle photographer currently residing in New York City.

She entered the photography world almost by accident; at the age of fifteen she picked up a camera and snuck it into a concert. By 17, she was shooting on assignment for Rolling Stone Magazine.

Over the years, Mae has dabbled in many facets of visual creation. In her late teens, she photographed print ads as well as online digitals for companies such as American Eagle, American Apparel and Brandy Melville. At 18, she began touring, and by age 21, she felt that her photography career had run its course and began her transition into playing music herself.

Although photography is no longer Mae’s main focus, she still loves working with new artists and finding ways to connect and create.
